To Perform a Master Reset on a MiKe Motorola Device
Note: A master reset does not delete your contacts or any personal information on your phone.
- Press the Menu key.
- Select Settings.
- Select Advanced.
- Select Connectivity.
- Select Master Reset.
- Type the Security Code 000000.
- Press the OK key.
- When you see Master Reset?, press Yes.
- When you see Caution See Manual, Press the OK key.
- Your phone may turn off. If so, and if it does not restart automatically, turn it on again.
Your phone no longer displays an SOS/Service Restricted message.
If the master reset doesn't work, move your SIM card to a different Mike phone, repeat the above steps, then move the SIM card back to your phone.
To Perform a Master Reset on a MiKe BlackBerry® Device
- From the Home screen, press the Menu key.
- Select Options.
- Select Security Options.
- Select General Settings.
- Press the Track wheel or Menu key.
- Select Master Radio Reset.
- Type the Security Code. This is typically 000000 (unless you have changed it).
- Press the OK key.
Your BlackBerry® is reset.
Note: If you have changed and forgotten your Security Code, you will have to have your phone serviced at a
local repair center I get an Enter Special Code message
